Best of 2012 Giveaway Hop



Hosted by I Am A Reader, Not A Writer The Best of 2012 Giveaway Hop wraps up a year of giveaway hops by featuring your favorite reads.  Your giveaway should feature your favorite book or books of 2012.  These can be books that were published in 2012 or books that your read in 2012.

Below are six of my favorite books that I read this year. I am giving away ONE of the following to ONE winner. INT as long as Book Depository ships to you!

  10. There were so many great books this year, but if I had to choose just one it would definitely be Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo.

  14. Hmm, I read some great books in 2012 - I don't know if I can pick just *one* favourite - but I loved The Fault in Our Stars, Born Wicked and Eleanor & Park!

  16. I've read so many great books this year it difficult to choose
    just one or to even narrow it down to just a few. Not to mention that I'm a bit behind, so some of my favs I read this year were published
    prior to 2012.
    The Taker (book1)and The Reckoning (book 2)by Alma Katsu
    Riyria Revelations (3 Book omnibus set) by Michael J Sullivan
    The Warded Man and The Desert Spear by Peter V Brett
    The Black Prism and The Blinding Knife by Brent Weeks
    Tart by Lauren Dane
    The Many Sins of Lord Cameron by Jennifer Ashley
    When The Duchess Said Yes by Isabella Bradford
    Lady Awakening by Celia Grant
    There are so many others and my TBR list is longer than "the Song That Never Ends" ...I could go on for a while. I just started Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes and already I'm loving it.

  40. My fave read this year is either TFIOS, The Scorpio Races, or The Magicians. But Where Things Come Back and How to Save A Life are close, too. Also the Raven Boys.

  54. So many favorite books this year. I read The Hunger Games trilogy and I loved it, Catching Jordan and Stealing Parker by Miranda Kenneally I also loved it.. I really can't point one.

  71. I read a lot of good books in 2012 so it’s hard to pick just one, but I think the one that stands out the most is,” The Crimson League (The Herezoth Trilogy)”, by Victoria Grefer . I wasn’t expecting it to be nearly as good as it was but when I read it, I was so surprised as it turned out to be completely brilliant as she brought an entire world to life. I loved it.

  87. I recently read The Killing Moon by NK Jemisin (it's fantasy) and oh wow I was blown away. Totally. This book is one of the greatest fantasy books out there, seriously! One of my 2012 favorites!

    Other favorites will be Deathless by Catherynne M. Valente, Throne of Glass - Sarah J. Maas, A Face Like Glass - Frances Hardinge, Airborn - Kenneth Oppel, Howl's Moving Castle - Diana Wynne Jones...

    Ok I really, really love fantasy genre so yeah.
