Top Ten Tuesday #2: Top Ten Books That Make Me Think

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

(1) The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. This book made me think about how no matter what you're going though, you shouldn't lose yourself. Like cancer, just because you may have it doesn't mean that's all you are.
(2) You Against Me by Jenny Downham. This book made me think about how hard it is to do the right thing, how it can be harder to tell the truth when it could hurt your family.
(3) Slammed by Colleen Hoover. This book had beautiful poetry, amazing strong characters.  About losing love and family, and growing up to fast.
(4) Easy by Tammara Webber. I really liked the main character and how she didn't try to hide the fact that she was almost raped, this book shows how important it is to address these issues.
(5) A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness. Accepting things can be difficult, and that's what this book is about, learning to accept things, no matter how much you wish they weren't true. (6)  Holes by Louis Sachar. I read this book in middle school, and I loved it. The characters, and the story.
(7) Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma. Falling in love can be hard, especially if it's with the wrong person.
(8) Delirium by Lauren Oliver. Imagine living your whole life where people tell you love is wrong, then one day it changes. In a wold where love is a disease you met someone who changes everything your were thought.
